Anambra Election: SDP candidate decries sluggish BVAS accreditation in Ihiala ward 1

 

The candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), in the Anambra supplementary election, Obinna Uzor has voted in Umunnamehi Primary School, ward 1, in Ihiala Local Government Area.

 

Uzor said the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS in the polling unit was sluggish and was delaying the voting process.

 

His words, “It is only VIPs that stays when they cant be captured, they continue to wait to ensure that they eventually get captured and vote.

 

“But the locals among us, once they can not be captured, they just leave. We love technology, but INEC should fine-tune it. This can affect the outcome of the process,” he said
