Ignore GoFundMe links, Liquorose’s team tells fans

 

Team for Big Brother Naija Season Six housemate, Liquorose, has requested fans to disregard viral GoFundMe links set up in her name.

 

In a tweet by her Twitter handler on Monday, it was stated that the link which set a goal of £50,000, did not originate from the team.

 

“Kindly ignore the GoFundMe link, it’s not from the team. Any necessary information will be posted officially at the appropriate time. For now, we are celebrating Queen LIQUOROSE. She deserves so many roses and accolades. #CongratulationsLiquorose,” the tweet read.

 

Born Roseline Afijie, Liquorose emerged the first runner-up in the competition after fellow finalist, Whitemoney, was declared the winner on Sunday, the final day of the show.

 

In the winner takes all game, Whitemoney walked home with a grand prize worth N90,000,000 after winning 47 percent of the total votes.

 

Known for her competitive spirit, Liquorose had won several tasks and challenges during her ten weeks in the show, including the Darling task which earned her 4.5 million naira on Sunday.

 

On leaving the competition, the professional dancer had amassed over 20 million naira, making her the housemate with the highest win in terms of task prizes for the season
