The agency said the report includes a backlog of 179 cases reported in Lagos state from September 11.

The NCDC update showed that 659 persons were discharged after recovering from the infection on Saturday.

However, 35 additional persons were confirmed to have died of COVID complications.

The agency added that “32 deaths reported in Lagos, include backlog from September 11, 2021.”
