APC Congress: Jigawa executives emerge through consensus


The All Progresive Congress, APC, in the Jigawa state chapter has elected the state executives through consensus.

This was stated by the Chairman of the state Congress committee, Alhaji Haruna Musa, while speaking after the Congress held at Aminu Kano Triangle, Dutse.

He said all the state’s executive members were elected through consensus by the delegates of the party.

Former ALGON chairman and Gumel Local Government, Aminu Sani Gumel, emerged as state chairman of the party.

Others are Nasiru Dahiru Jahun as State Deputy Chairman, Mannir Uba Gumel as Vice Chairman North, Isah Baba Buji as Vice Chairman Central, Abdullahi Ango as Vice Chairman East and Muhammad Umar Dikuma as State Secretary.

He said similar consensus was adopted during the last ward and local government congresses conducted in the state.

He therefore commended the state’s party stakeholders for their support and cooperation for the peaceful congresses recorded.

Speaking on behalf of other executives, the new party chairman, Gumel promised to carry every member of the party along.
