PDP Convention: Governor Fintiri inaugurates sub-committees on planning

The Chairman of the Organising Committee of the People’s Democratic Party, 2021 National Convention, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has inaugurated the 15 sub-committees to produce the party’s next national working members in October.

A statement on Thursday by Humwashi Wonosikou, Press Secretary to Fintiri, Thursday said he charged the Committee Chairmen and their Deputies to make sacrifices for the party and the nation.

He reminded them that the outcome of their work will be the turning point in the history of Nigeria’s democracy, which will, in turn, translate to PDPs return to power at the centre.

The Governor pointed out that they were carefully selected from a rigorous process based on their pedigrees as men and women of proven integrity urging them to sacrifice their comfort for the growth and progress of Nigeria.

He said it’s a race against time and the Committee cannot afford to fail Nigerians that are waiting for the remaking of a Nigeria in crisis.

The Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri led National Convention Organising Committee was inaugurated last week, with the mandate to deliver a credible convention.
