Kano is ready for APC state congress – Gov Ganduje

Few days to the state Congress of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje says the state is ready for the state Congress coming up on the 16th of October.”

He made the disclosure at the State Executive Council meeting at the Government House, Kano, Tuesday.

“The Ward Congresses took place. That was followed by the local government congresses. After the inauguration of the Wards party leadership, we are now waiting for the inauguration of the local government leaders who were elected a few weeks back,” he explained.

“We are getting ready for the state congress. We are making all the necessary preparations for the state congress,” he said.

Meanwhile, he directed all Commissioners and all Advisers to attend the Independence Day Parade coming up on Friday, 1st October.

“Commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba is leading the Committee for Independence Day celebration.
