The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of zone
8, Lokoja, Ayuba Ede has confirmed the killing of two soldiers on road block
before Kabba Correctional Centre, Kogi State.
Over 100 inmates were said to have escaped during the attack
on the Kogi prison.
Edeh said the State Commissioner of Police and other heads
of security agencies have swung into action to do an assessment of the cause of
the prison break.
