NDA: Buhari govt prosecuting Nnamdi Kanu but no bandit, terrorist on trial – Deji Adeyanju

Deji Adeyanju, a popular Nigerian rights activist, has expressed disappointment over the refusal of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government to prosecute bandits and terrorists killing Nigerians.

Adeyanju said the federal government was prosecuting Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, but failed to do the same with bandits.

The convener of Concerned Nigerian was reacting to an attack on the Nigerian Defence Academy, NDA, by gunmen believed to be bandits.

Recall that armed men suspected to be bandits broke into the premises of the Defence Academy on Tuesday morning.

The gunmen killed two officers and abducted two Majors during the incident.

According to some reports, those in charge of the CCTV were fast asleep when the incident occurred.

Reacting, Adeyanju, in a tweet, wrote: “Not one Boko Haram or bandit, terrorists who have killed thousands of Nigeria is on trial in Nigeria, but Nnamdi Kanu is the problem of Buhari. This Govt disgusts me.

“I’m shocked that Buhari is yet to express shock over the attack on soldiers at the NDA barrack in Kaduna.”
