Bandits: Do something beyond refusing to eat – Omokri mocks Buhari over Katsina attack

Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has mocked President Muhammadu Buhari over the activities of banditry in Katsina State.

Omokri said Buhari should do something beyond refusing to eat.

He wondered if the president allegedly rigged himself into power to opt for hunger strike amid bandits attacks.

In a tweet, Omokri wrote: “Bandits killed 7 soldiers in Katsina. I hope General Buhari will do something about this beyond refusing to eat.

“Did Buhari rig himself in for a second term so he can go on hunger strikes when Nigerians are killed by his killer herdsmen kinsmen and other criminals?”

Gunmen believed to be bandits had attacked Tsayau community in Jibia Local Government Area of Katsina State.

Four persons were killed during the attack.

It was gathered that the incident happened on Monday when the attacker stormed the community, shooting sporadically, gunned down four before whisking unspecified number of residents to an unknown destination.

The lawmaker representing Jibia at the State House of Assembly, Mustapha Yusuf, confirmed the incident to newsmen in Katsina.
