BBNaija: Sammie breaks down in tears, says he feels inferior to other housemates

Sammie, a BBNaija season six housemate, broke down in tears on Wednesday, after saying he feels inferior to his colleagues on the show.

The 26-year-old student of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) said the feeling hit him during the cultural drama rehearsal, adding that he saw himself as the one with the least abilities among the housemates.

He added that the idea made him cry, explaining that he doesn’t know what triggered the “funny thought”.

“One kind of thought just hit me in the garden, a kind of funny thought. I was now looking at everybody like, from different places, and I just had a thought of where I was coming from personally and what I’m doing here. I don’t know what triggered it, it just happened,” he said.

Pacifying him, Angel, his fellow housemate, who has a connection with him, said Sammie needs to practice positive self-affirmation.

Angel said positive affirmation helped her through the two weeks of isolation before the reality show started on July 24.

“You have to remind yourself that you’re sufficient, you have to tell yourself that you’re here for a reason and you’re equal to everybody. There is nobody here that is better than you,” she said.

Subsequently, Sammie’s social media handler shed more light on the emotional episode.

“Took a little time to reflect on my background as to where I am from and where I am at right now,” the post reads.

“Strong men break down too 🥲🥲and sometimes been away from your loved ones provokes emotions. Tonight is one of those days where you get to see me shed a tear because I’m human.

“Thank you beautiful Queens @theangeljbsmith and @thejackiebent for the strong motivation.”
