VIDEO: Davido gifts daughter Range Rover as she turns 6

 

Davido, award-winning Nigerian singer, has bought Imade, his first child, a Ranger Rover SUV as a present for her 6th birthday.

 

The music star took to his Instagram page to share a photo of the vehicle as well as his excited daughter relishing the gift with her friends.

 

The ‘OBO’ crooner also accompanied the photos with a terse post wherein he reiterated his love for his child.

 

“Happy early birthday baby @realimadeadeleke daddy loves u !! Enjoy your motor,” he wrote.

 

Davido and Sophia Momodu, cousin to Dele Momodu, media personality, welcomed Imade on May 14, 2015, before their relationship later fell apart.

The pair had last year engaged in an intense war of words on social media after the singer explained why he flew the entrepreneur and their little girl on his way to Ghana.

 

“My daughter’s mother had her business in Ghana with Afrochella selling Imade’s hair products at stalls and I was obviously booked to perform at Afronation,” he had said.

 

 “I didn’t want to be left in Lagos without her mom. It was either that or she flies economy.”

 

Sophia had, however, fired back at the singer for his “economy class” comment, using the hashtag: “We fly first or business class.”

 

Imade’s birthday comes at a time when the spotlight has beamed on Davido’s relationship with Chioma Chioma Avril Rowland, his estranged fiancée.
