Why Igbos don't bow while greeting — Nnamdi Kanu

 

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has revealed the reason Igbos do not bow while greeting or exchanging pleasantries.

The IPOB leader made this revelation known on Monday while reacting to a photo of former Nigerian leaders greeting Queen Elizabeth.

 

He posted;

"As the originators of democratic republicanism which the Greeks copied, perfected and documented, we Biafrans bow NOT before any mortal being. That is why they hate us, that is also why we are feared and ultimately why we are unique as a race of people.

 

We bow only before God Almighty Chukwu Okike Abiama in heaven and that God will definitely fight our battles for us because HE is the only King we recognize...(Chi-bu-Eze). All men are created equal by HIM and so shall it be in the new Biafra."
