Osinbajo, a change agent at 64 – Omo-Agege

Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has described the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo as a change agent.

As Osinbajo marks his 64th birthday today, Omo-Agege said, many Nigerians will continue to applaud him as a consistent and reform–minded performer.

In a congratulatory message on Monday, Senator Omo-Agege described the nation’s number two citizen as one of the key figures driving the All Progressives Congress and President Muhammadu Buhari’s change agenda.

“Today, I join members of his family, and millions of Nigerians within and outside the country in celebrating the birthday of one of ours – the remarkable Vice President, Professor Oluyemi Oluleke Osinbajo, SAN, GCON – whose dogged pursuit of populist reforms left indelible imprints in Lagos State as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice between 1999 and 2007 and other party and national assignments.

“He also distinguished himself at the international arena as staff member, United Nations Operations in Somalia, Justice Division, UNOSOM II as well as member of the United Nations Secretary General’s Committee of Experts on Conduct and Discipline of UN, Peacekeeping Personnel.

“I pray that God will continue to sustain his resolute determination in supporting our dear President to make enduring positive impacts in the lives of Nigerians,” he stated.

The Deputy President of the Senate also wished the legal luminary greater fulfilment in the years ahead.
