My IG account, email have been hacked, says Kanayo O Kanayo

 

Kanayo O Kanayo, ace Nigerian actor, says his Instagram and email accounts have been hacked.

The 59-year-old film star raised the alarm in a short video shared via his Twitter page on Friday.

 

The Nollywood actor, who stated that efforts are in top gear to retrieve the page from the unidentified hackers, charged his followers to disregard any message disseminated via the account at this time as they are not from him.

 

“I’m making this video to inform you all that my Instagram account has been hacked and my email also. Please disregard every information or message coming to you at this moment. It’s not made by me,” he said.

“Please help to repost this message. We will get rid of these guys no matter how many steps they get ahead.”

Hello friends,

Kindly, ignore all messages you may receive from my email or IG account. Those accounts were just hacked.

My team is working on recovering the accounts.

Kanayo had earlier made the news after he took a hit at critics who taunted him for playing ritual roles in films.

 

“What’s the link between Kanayo O Kanayo and the role he played as Nicholas? There are certain questions people ask you all the time such that it looks as if these people don’t think,” he had stated.

 

“Let gossipers be. They should go educate themselves. Even among Jesus’ disciples, Luke was a doctor. They all had what they were doing before they were called.

 

“You take up a role and interpret the script so well, only for viewers to ask if you truly do money rituals. What’s one’s business with that? What people should understand is I have a profession.”
