Annie Macaulay-Idibia, Nigerian actress, has lavished
encomium on Innocent Idibia, her husband better known as 2Baba, on the occasion
of their 8th wedding anniversary.
The 36-year-old model and film star took her Instagram page
on Tuesday to put out a lengthy yet romantic panegyric for her hubby on the
occasion of their anniversary.
Annie described 2Baba, who is an award-winning singer, as
“my first crush” while also declaring that she got married to “my first love”.
She revealed she knew from the beginning of their romance
that he would be her husband but was clueless as to how it will play out.
“First Crush! Yes!!! I Married My First Love. Yes!! I
married the baby daddy to my first child, ‘my sunshine.’ I always knew it was
you,” she wrote alongside a photo from their wedding.
“How it would happen or work out? That I was clueless about…
a puzzle I never ever wanted to solve, but I knew it had to be you.
“There is no doubt that we are soul mates, I gave you all of
me, knowing that in you, and you only have this imperfect girl found
perfection. Either in this lifetime or another, it would have you.”
The movie star also shared a video of 2Baba singing ‘Close to where you
are’, one of his popular songs, which connotes that he always wants to be close
to his heartthrob.
The path to their marriage was not all bed of roses for the
actress, as she had to fight off several ladies to win the heart of the music
icon.
Their union is blessed with two children: Isabella Idibia
and Olivia Idibia.
Idibia, 45, is believed to have been sexually involved with
other women like Sunbo Adeoye, Pero Adeniyi, and Caroline Danjuma.
