Lateef Jakande, first civilian governor of Lagos state, has
been laid to rest on Friday.
The revered politician and journalist died on Thursday at
the age of 91.
A funeral prayer was observed for him at his residence in
the Ilupeju area of Lagos.
Obafemi Hamzat, deputy governor of Lagos state and Ibinkule
Amosun, former governor of Ogun state, were among those present at the funeral.
