Nigerian man who ‘mistakenly impregnated girlfriend’ begs for baby items

 

A Nigerian man, who claimed that he mistakenly impregnated his girlfriend, has taken to social media to solicit help for baby-related items.

 

In a Twitter thread on Friday, Aderonmu said it has been a tough task shouldering the attendant responsibilities since they welcomed their baby on Thursday.

 

He called on Nigerians to help them with towels, blankets, sleeping net, diapers among other baby-related items.

 

He also explained that he decided to seek help on the platform considering the fact that he had no other option as family members refused to assist them.

 

 “I mistakenly impregnated my girlfriend when I’m not close to ‘having it together’ & yeah yesterday she got delivered a baby girl,” he wrote.

His post has since elicited mixed reactions on Twitter, with Nigerians sharing their different views on his ordeal.

 

“Mistakenly? For nine months you couldn’t plan? You knew you weren’t ready why not use protection? This is highly irresponsible of you,” a user wrote.

 

“The fact that you guys didn’t opt for abortion is good thing bro, God will help you guys!” another user wrote.

He needs to mention it's a mistake so people don't ask him why he gave birth without being ready for it. This street is crazy, I see nothing wrong in him saying mistake. Cos the truth is that it's a mistake cos he's not prepared to be a father.

Guy kudos to you I must say at least. This also happened to me last year b4 my wife delivered to me a baby girl in November. It is by d grace to win the race. I wouldn't lie, I ran to people but no help I even seek help from @DONJAZZY by tagging him but he didn't reply

First, remove the "mistake" because the child is here now and you won't be happy if she is referred to as "born by mistake". That word makes it seem you are seeking sympathy. Well meaning people will definitely help you.

Rather unplanned, not mistake.
There are cases of such & doesn't determine what but who the baby end up being. If y're real - show remorse, seek forgiveness for fornication, prove some love, care & keep up legit hustle. Your Android phone can start mini biz & lift u up. Best luck

If your story is true, walk into the the nearest Catholic Church and ask for St. Vincent de Paul society, they will do their findings, once verified - They wil fix you up good.
