PHOTOS: Buhari meets security chiefs amid rising cases of kidnapping

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over the security council meeting at the state house in Abuja.

 

There has been rising insecurity in the country, especially in the north.

 

On Monday, eight students of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, were reportedly abducted when kidnappers attacked motorists along Kaduna-Abuja road, and on Tuesday, Haruna Kuye, district head of Gidan Zaki, Zangon Kataf local government area of Kaduna state, was shot dead.

 

Those in attendance are Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo; Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation; Ibrahim Gambari, chief of staff; Mohammed Adamu, inspector-general of police; Tukur Buratai, chief of army staff, ministers and heads of intelligence agencies.

  1. Talk and more talks and display army fatigues. At the end of the day it's is not on how much talk or posturing in army fatigues. It's in action and results. After the meeting are we going to see a reduction in the abduction? What do we expect?
