Shehu Sani, former Kaduna Central Senator, has condemned the killing of over 40 farmers by Boko Haram in Borno State.


Sani lamented that Nigeria was bleeding in the hands of evil.


Boko Haram had killed some farmers on rice fields at Zabarmari, in Jere Local Government of Borno State.


The terrorists beheaded the farmers on Saturday night in Zabarmari, less than 20 km from Maiduguri.


Reacting to the massacre, the former lawmaker described it as horrible.


In a tweet, Sani wrote: “The reported massacre of over 40 farmers by insurgents in Borno State earlier today is condemnable.


“This is a recurring news for some, but a horrible tragedy for the children, wives and loved ones they left behind.


“Every dawn of a new day, our nation bleeds in the hands of evil.”

  1. The north called for Jonathan's head due to failure to curb Boko Haram. Now that @MBuhari has failed to curb both Boko Haram and Bandits why are people not calling for his resignation? There seems to be a conspiracy here which one is drawn to conclude that it's all part of the Islamisation agenda. Sowing chaos and fear through terrorism.
