A lot of men can’t handle successful women-Toke Makinwa

Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa has averred that a lot of men cannot handle successful women because of financial insecurity and status.

The fashionista made this known during a live Instagram chat with popular media personality, IK Osakioduwa .

In her words: “A lot of women don’t have any problems with dating who…It’s not about status for me. For me I’m more interested in a guy who has purpose, a guy who is grounded in his purpose, someone who knows where he is going,” she said.

“Because money can up and leave. You can marry someone who has money today and in two years the guy doesn’t have all that money anymore. But I feel like sometimes, guys think they can handle it, and they think it is nice on paper, even in that reality, a lot of them cannot handle a successful woman”.


Recall that weeks back, Makinwa said her vagina smells like pineapple.

“I feel like the vagina shouldn’t have an odour. If your vagina smells…it has like a metallic smell which is kind of normal but I don’t think that anybody’s vagina should be smelling, it’s not healthy.If your vagina smells, you should get that checked. Mine smells like pineapples because I drink a lot of pineapples and cranberry juice. And ladies just clean up properly,” she said.
