Osun election: ‘Go to court’ – Returning Officer, Fuwape tells Adeleke

The Returning Officer in the Osun State governorship election, Prof Joseph Fuwape, has advised the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, “to seek redress in court if you have noticed any errors in the results already announced.”

The Returning Officer, who also is the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, made the comment on Thursday when the PDP agent, Dele Adeleke, raised an observation that there were errors on the results of the Local Government announced earlier last Sunday.

Backing the Returning Officer, agents of the All Progressives Congress, APC, National Conscience Party, NCP, and other parties told the aggrieved Adeleke to take his case to the tribunal for redress.

Meanwhile, INEC has declared Gboyega Oyetola winner of the poll.
