The rescued Dapchi schoolgirls
have been taken to the General Hospital in Dapchi for profiling by the
military.
Some of the parents are, however,
not willing to let their daughters out of their sight.
A parent of one of the girls,
Malam Ali Abdullahi, speaking to News Agency of Nigeria said that all the girls
were already in their various homes when military men said the girls needed to
be taken to the hospital.
“Immediately the insurgents
dropped them from the truck, they all ran home.
“Now, the Army told us to bring
them to the hospital for check up.
“As you can see, some of the
parents are not willing to let their daughters out of their sight. But the Army
are insisting,’’ he said.
Vehicles have been stationed at
the hospital to convey the girls to Damaturu.
Meanwhile, the Minister of
Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, has confirmed the documentation of 101 of the
girls released.
