Tragedy averted in Ojuelegba, Lagos, as truck with a nonfunctional brake rams into a car

2

Few hours ago an instagram user with the username @skinsational_skincarengtook to her page to thank God for his faithfulness. She went ahead to narrate how a trailer with no brakes broke down on ojuelegba bridge and how the driver came down to use stones to hold the tyres, but the trailer started rolling back and hit and hit a bus.

Read her post after the cut:

Thank God for his faithfulness!
So this trailer broke down on ojuelegba bridge, driver came down to use stones to hold the tyres as the trailer had no brakes, that was how the trailer rolled back and hit this bus, thank God for divine intervention. The railings on that bridge needs to be fixed. To think a small child was in the sienna with her parents. Sigh!
Later they will say Lagos is working, the most important things are ignored.

  1. Lagos is working doesn't mean the government should fix cars, lorries and lives of everyone. The government does their bits and the citizens theirs. You are not asking the government to fix all brakes for all lorry drivers are you.Citizens must take responsibilities for their actions making sure their vehicles are roadworthy before setting out on the road, that's not the responsibility of the government.Lagos works when all inhabitants does their bits

  2. Women just have a way of coming up inordinate and distorted complaints. Many times, they can't seem to contain their emotion and offer an objective account of an issue.
