Breakdown of National Assembly’s N125 billion budget



A total of N125 billion has been budgeted for the National Assembly in the 2017 Appropriation Bill.

Reports had said the lawmakers were pushing for increment of their budgetary allocation to N150 billion from N115 billion allocated to the National Assembly in 2016.

Service Wide Vote- N391, 396, 169.

  1. 125billion what are they doing with such money? What are they generating the federal account. All they do is sit down and talk and talk. Some there haven't contributed to the development of the country in terms of reliable and sustainable idea to move the country forward. Yet they increase allocation for them year after year. Government should reduce cost of governance and spend these huge funds on something meaningful to help boost the social economy development of the country. God have mercy on us all.
