Investigate Senator Adeleke’s death – Fani-Kayode charges FG

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has called on the Federal Government to look into the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of Senator Isiaka Adeleke.


Senator Isiaka Adeleke, a former governor of Osun State, died yesterday after a reported heart attack.

The 62-year-old politician was said to have been rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Youths in Osun state have alleged that he was poisoned by his political enemies at a political meeting in the state on Saturday, April 22nd.

An autopsy is being carried out to determine the cause of death.


Meanwhile, his burial has been fixed for Monday in Ede his hometown in accordance with Islamic rites.

Fani-Kayode wrote on his twitter handle, @realFFK, “Sen. Isiaka Adeleke passing is tragic. It is a blow to us all.
“I call on the FG to investigate the circumstance of his death.”

  1. FFK, is like you dont have what will keep you busy since your boss lost election, but for your intimidation death is usually sudden and will continue to be. May his soul rest in peace
