Spokesman, Reuben Abati, released an article yesterday which he titled ‘television
as madness’ where he described some of the Big Brother Naija 2017 housemates.
The piece laid emphasis on a particular housemate, TBoss who he described in
some terms that have been deemed inappropriate by Nigerians. (Read here)
According to him, Tboss
dominated the space with her Jezebelic antics, that she projected herself as a
sex object, the ultimate manipulator, the champion Delilah of the Big Brother
Africa series.
He also body shamed her, saying; "I have seen better breasts
TBOSS. I am not too sure those private jet owners will be excited by your
fluffy, South-looking, slightly bigger than mangoes breasts. If the same men
see bigger assets, I mean, those interesting Ojiakor-like ones that look like
papayas, pineapples and watermelons, they will not send private jets, they will
deploy submarines and fighter jets!"

ReplyDeleteAbati owes nobody any apology for saying things as it is. By his standing and age, he has the moral ground to advise those as young and naive as his children. You see the problem of this so call TV show is to totally destroy those values we Africans held high and they are succeeding otherwise how else can someone criticize Abati for condemning what he sees as wrong - total immorality and open showcasing of breasts in alive international Tv. Those crucifying Abati can also applaud the show and how mates if they are captured having sex raw- Hardcore porn. BBNaija was nothing more than soft porn. Take it or leave it.
ReplyDeleteAbati is very right in thought and choice of word. Those presenting TBoss as that innocent daughter of someone are so ignorant. You cannot claim what you don't have in law. His baring his breast in the show attracted Abati's description.So, as it is, any other person has a right to describe her breast from his or her own perspective. TBoss Knew what she was doing- simply advertising her breasts and making men to fantasize what it will be like having her for a night. Kemen is one of the victims already.
