Hameed Ali: Buhari pretends as if nothing is wrong – Senator Olujimi

Senator Biodun Olujimi representing Ekiti south senatorial district has said that the action of Nigeria customs, Hameed Ali is a breach of Constitution and a grand display of arrogance.

She stated this while contributing to letter sent to the Senate by the Attorney General of Federation, Abubakar Malami over the Customs Boss, Ali invitation by the upper chamber.

She stated further that such display by the CG Customs CG shows that he feels no reason to abide by the law.

She lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government of pretending that nothing is wrong with Hammed Ali's composure with the Senate.

"Executive is sitting pretty and pretending nothing is wrong”, she said.

This is just a planned game. if you are importing a car from the US or Any where from outside Nigeria, are you the one that will stand as the clearing and forwarding agent??? Small boys on the street are using cars of 70m - 150m. What do u think is the status of the Senate president

  3. Buhari is expressly supporting Ali. But Buhari doesn't realize that if Ali gets away with his arrogance, he (Ali) will disobey him in time to come.

  4. The focus is shifting from Ali, but why is this Saraki vehicle scam coming out now? Customs would have swept it under the carpet if Ali was not tormented to wear uniform. I care less about those thieves in the senate but the devilish exercise must not see the light of day. Why are Nigerians being punished for customs failure, people can barely eat a meal per day yet your want them to pay duty on old vehicle, fools. Buhari, why are you treating us this way?

  5. @La; On contrary, the senate wanted to punish Ali for holding on the vehicle.

pot calling kettle Black. Did they want the president to tight rope on Ali and bring him to them?

Rather than doing their job, they are busy shifting blames and responsibility to other.
