Today, the much talked about Rivers Rerun is underway and here are five key points to note as the exercise goes on;


1. The rerun elections are for 37 national and state legislatives seats.

2. 927,769 voters are eligible to vote in the Rivers state legislative rerun election.

3. The race will be keenly contested amongst candidates of the PDP and APC.

4. INEC has deployed 10,294 staff to conduct the election.

5. 28,000 Police officials have been deployed for the polls.
