Former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, who has been in detention for the past 24 days, yesterday, regained his freedom.

According to the court, the surety must not only be resident in Abuja, but must also be an owner of a landed property within the Federal Capital Territory.

Besides, Fani-Kayode was ordered to surrender his international passport. Meanwhile, speaking to journalist shortly after he was released, Fani-Kayode who was received by his wife and friends, said he was glad to be out of Kuje Prison where he spent three days.
