John Mikel Obi has expressed his delight over the Super Eagles' improvement in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking released on Thursday.
Nigeria moved up from 64th to 60th position in the latest rankings published on FIFA's official website.
After losing to Egypt in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, the Eagles have gone on a winning streak with victories against Luxembourg, Mali, Tanzania and Zambia, hence their improvement in the rankings.
Reacting to the latest rankings, Mikel assured that the Eagles will not relent in their efforts to sustain improvement.
"Super Eagles, four places in FIFA world rankings. With our young squad we will continue to give everything, work hard and improve," the Super Eagles captain wrote on his Twitter handle.
