The group in a statement by its national coordinator, Hon. Olaoluwa Adegbola Benson, said it will back High Chief Raymond Dokpesi because of his integrity, maturity, experience and commitment to the party.
The group vowed to mobilize delegates to vote for Dokpesi in a bid to revive the party and ensure power return to the people as envisaged by the founding fathers of PDP.
“The clear declaration of the zoning of the chairmanship position in the forthcoming National convention is a welcome development and a call on the people of the zone to present their best and give the party the leadership it deserves”
“We call on all party leaders and particularly the delegates to the convention to vote en mass for the election of High Chief Raymond Dokpesi as the national chairman of our great party”
“As youths, we belief that only fairness, fair play and collective interest can return the party to its days of glory and this should begin with the election of a competent person who links bridge between the young and the advanced in age”
