Nigerians in the early hours of today took to social media to attack #TeamNigeria for wearing track suits and not, traditional attires during the opening ceremony of the Rio Olympics today.
Many Nigerians argued that the Olympics should have been a medium to showcase Nigerian culture to the world.

Sigh. Must we criticize everything? Naija, we are experts at putting ourselves down. We do it to our children, to ourselves, to our workers and the people we work for. Why don't we ever see anything good in ourselves or anybody???
