Nigeria men's basketball side D'Tigers ended their campaign in the Stankovic Cup with a defeat following a 73 to 82 loss to France on Friday.
The invitational tourney is put together as a preparatory test for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
The Nigerians beat China 79-71 in their first game before going down to a 71- 49 defeat to Argentina in their second fixture.
D'Tigers who were without the famous Aminu brothers finished the competition with a win and two defeats.
The African champions trailed 18-0 early in the game, but rallied back to finish the first quarter with a seven-point deficit as France led 45-38.
The Europeans extended their lead with just a point at the end of the second quarter with scores at 64-55.
D'Tigers cut their opponents' lead to four points at a stage in the last quarter, but at the end it was France who prevailed 82- 73.
