Nigerian DJ, DJ Obi begins his conquest towards beating a world record

After a video from the Guinness World Record team and an opening prayer, his set started off with international house music to a packed house.


The record to beat is 8 days (200 hours) and he’s aiming for 10 days (240 hours).

It’s been 22 hours and he’s still going strong! On Day 1 many celebs stopped by to spur him on and show love, including Don Jazzy, Dr SID, Omawumi, Dorcas Shola Fapson, Lynxxx, Nedu and more.

If you’re in Lagos, show love – meet DJ Obi, dance to the tunes or just sit back and enjoy some food and drinks at Sao Café in Lekki, anytime between now and 11:30pm on Saturday, July 2nd!
