Ali, who was rescued earlier today along with her four-month-old baby, was handed over to the governor by at the Government House in Maiduguri by the Acting General Officer Commanding 7 Division, Brig. Gen. Victor Ezugwu, a statement by the Army said.
The statement said she is expected to be taken to Abuja today along with her parents to meet President Muhammadu Buhari.
It explained that she was airlifted from Damboa where she was rescued to Maiduguri by the Air Force after being examined at the NAF medical facility.
A man, Mohammed Hayatu, who claimed to be her husband, was flown with her and her baby but is under investigation.
“The supposed husband is undergoing further investigation at the Joint Intelligence Centre, ” the statement said.
“It should be noted that Mohammed Hayatu is well treated in line with Operation LAFIYA DOLE Rules of Engagement regarding insurgents who voluntarily surrender to the military.”
Story. This whole thing just smacks of lies, deceit and distraction tactics. The coincidence is too much.

The entire statement from the story points to the fact that it is all an arranged plan. the one girl having 3 different names. identified by a local hunter in the midst of many women and then went to locate her husband who now waited to be arrested by the military. This is Shameful and a disgrace to this country. Governor Shettima and co should be tried for genocide and mass killings.

Nawaaoo buhari has really disappointed me with this cheap lies,its now very obvious that all he is doing is a mere propaganda.they just framed this Chibok girl rescue to silence the NLC protests going on in Nigeria. CNN, Al-Jazeera and BBC are only showing just the chibok girl since yesterday whereas there are many major live events going on in Nigeria,fulani herdsmen are still attacking there and there,they killed people at plateau yesterday,boko haram is still bombing but we never heard of all these in the international news rather they are repeating from morning till night a scam called chibok girl rescue with her boko haram husband ,both given VIP treatment and hospitalized for quick recovery including the terrorist who has killed thousands of innocent souls. I can't believe this is really happening,that the federal government used this scam to cover the protests, the cries of the people and the hardship in Nigeria.
