REVEALED: Lagos State Road Traffic Law - Violations + Penalties, Jail terms


The Lagos State Government on Friday inaugurated the Special Offences (Mobile) Court to summarily deal with growing cases of traffic and environmental abuses in the state with the view to bring sanity and civility in the conduct of residents.



The Mobile Court, which will be manned by highly-qualified Magistrates of the State Judiciary, will summarily try cases involving traffic and environmental offenders.

  3. There are rampant violation of traffic rules under Ambode. Truck pushers take over highway and push on the wrong side of the road. Same applies to Okada Riders. Okada riders now move recklessly on all the roads where they are prohibited. Ambode should know that exposing Lagosains to road mishap in fulfilment of electoral promise is unethical. Driving in Lagos is now like pre-Fashola simply crazy
