Radio Biafra boss, Nnamdi Kanu, may have died - MASSOB

THE leadership of a faction for the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, weekend, alleged that Nnamdi Kanu, the promoter of Radio Biafra, detained by security operatives, may have been murdered.

In a statement in Abakaliki, MASSOB factional Director of Information, Comrade Uchenna Madu, stated that information about Kanu’s murder was made available to the group through some security operatives sympathetic to the Biafran cause.

“Factional MASSOB has discovered that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu detained by Nigeria has been murdered in Abuja,”Madu said.

“Information to Biafra Intelligence Agency (BIA), through operatives sympathetic to the Biafran cause revealed it to us. Pro. Biafran groups may not believe it until Monday, Nov 23 when Nnamdi will be arraign in court.

“The cause information we are receiving from Abuja is not healthy, we’re still waiting till Monday. Nnamdi Kanu is the arrowhead of the Biafra agitation. Nigeria should be extremely careful on Nnamdi Kanu”.

“If government extra judicially kills Nnamdi Kanu, Nigeria will experience the worst volcanic rebellion and aggression.

“We call on the Ohaneze Ndigbo, South East Govs, Igbo leaders of thought, South-East and South-South Professionals, Igbo National Assembly members, traditional /religious leaders to call Nigeria’s Presidency to order now.

“We demand that Nnamdi Kanu must appear in court on Monday, Nov 23 alive or dead. We love non-violence & wish to maintain it but Nigeria is pushing Biafrans to the wall”.

  1. This will e a costly mistake by this administration if indeed this man has been killed. It goes to justify why the Biafrans wants to go. Is not only Biafra that harbors this intentions, even the Yorubas in thier mind would like to be separated from this forced marriage called Nigeria.

  2. I do not think he is dead. If he is dead, hmnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. I cannot say anything but hmnnnnnnnnnn. It shows clearly we have lost our democracy and the rule of law. It also shows that government have not learn its lessons. The country will be very dangerous to live if you kill the leader of any agitator(It might not take place immediately but be sure it will still take place). eg Dele Giwa's death gave birth to Niger Delta militants after many years. Dele Giwa's death brought about the Niger Delta militant which was wisely handled with peaceful dialog. If they had killed Asari another Asari will arise which is more deadly. But thank God our late president is filled with wisdom. Boko Haram escalated after the killing of its original leader, the killing of Osama Bin Laden did not give rise to global peace but resulted in the Islamic State. Also the killing of Kanu might ignite a new kind of combat that might not be healthy unless the agitators are cowards. It is not in the best interest of Nigeria that he die while in detention. His death will certainly make so many that are not supporting to start supporting. With the little study of global conflict I realized that nothing good is achieved if an agitator's leader is killed

  4. JUST SHUT THE CRAP UP!!! Nnamdi Kanu committed treasonable felony, a crime against the state. Nothing will happen, if he dies during detention it's unfortunate!!! But any form of restiveness will be dealt with, with maximum use of force. MASSOB can only cause Mayhem amongst it's kindred but certainly they lack the capacity to contend against the Nigeria troops.

    1. Ok. When the time comes, we will know if they can contend with Nigeria troops. If anything happens to him, Nigeria will be far worst than Somalia
