WATCH VIDEO: How Nigerian footballer, John Ogu proposed to his girlfriend in a packed stadium

Nigeria midfielder, John Ogu showed his romantic side at the weekend as he proposed to his fiancée Chiugo Akaolisa right on the pitch after a game involving his Israeli club Hapoel Beer Sheva and Maccabi Peta Tikva on Saturday.



The hosts won 5-2 but it was the marital victory for the footballer that will be the talk of the city for a long time because immediately after the final whistle, Ogu committed himself to his beautiful girlfriend.

While Ogu earns his living as a central midfielder, Chiugo is a blogger and entrepreneur by day and a budding novelist by night.

The graduate of the University of Alberta, Canada, regularly contributes to Bella Naija and is a self-professed relationship counselor.
