Nigerians on Tuesday, took to the social media to react over Senate’s postponement of the ministerial screening of former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi and other nominees.
NigerianEye recalls that this is the third time Amaechi's screening will be deferred.
According to Spokesperson of the Senate, Dino Melaye, the Senate screened only three ministerial nominees – Adebayo Shittu (Oyo), Claudius Omoleye Daramola (Ondo) and Khadija Bukar Abba Ibrahim (Yobe).

ReplyDeleteIts very clear. If they don't withdraw the case against him in CCB. Ameachi screening will continue to be postponed. But this is not necessary. If they think he is too corrupt to be screened, then disqualify him. He is not God. N nothing will happen.
ReplyDeleteNigerians deserve corrupt politicians. I don't know why Nigerians are rooting for Amaechi who has been very corrupt. I wonder why Buhari also seeks to compensate corrupt politicians with Ministerial appointments just because they campaigned for him! Is this the change that we voted for???
ReplyDeleteIf Ameachi becomes a minister then there is no difference between Buhari and Jonathan regime which have corrupt people as minister. Please Mr. President remove and replace Amaechi, he is corrupt
