Buhari’s ministerial list to be delayed

With the Senate announcing an adjournment till 21 July, President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial list will have to be delayed for at least another four weeks or better still, till after the Ramadan festival.

The 7th Senate under Senator David Mark approved in early June, President Buhari’s request for 15 special advisers.

President Buhari had only appointed a special adviser on media and publicity out of the lot.
Of recent, he had blamed the crisis in the senate as part of the reasons for the delay in unveiling ministerial nominees.

Close sources told NE that Buhari was livid with rage over the disrespect accorded the ruling party on various positions to be filled in both chambers of the Nigerian legislature.
