BEWARE: Fraudsters start fake ‘APC employment agency’

Suspected fraudsters have started an ‘employment agency’ in the name of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in a bid to swindle Nigerians.

The fake agency said the mass recruitment is in fulfillment of the party’s promise of empowering Nigerians.

Below is the message of the agency in one of its posters.

MASS RECRUITMENT
In order to fulfil Our Campaign Promises about Empowering People; The APC has started Mass Recruitment.
Both Educated and Non-Educated

It will be recalled that APC on Tuesday alerted Nigerians to some ‘419’ text messages making the rounds and asking those seeking federal appointments under the incoming Buhari Administration to contact certain consultants via telephone and email, saying no consultants have been hired to screen anyone for federal posts.

In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party therefore urged Nigerians to ignore such text messages, as they were definitely originated and circulated by fraudulent persons.

”Even when it is obvious that those behind these messages are merely seeking to swindle innocent Nigerians, some desperate persons may still fall prey to the evil machinations of the con artists. This is why we have decided to alert Nigerians to the fraudulent text messages,” it said.

  1. This is corruption in action. As long as PDP government is still in power, corruption will continue to ravage the country. Nigerians have not forgotten the Immigration Recruitment scam staged by the current government.

There will be war against corruption after May 29.

  2. Our journalists should get to work and establish in whose name the telephone number in the fraudulent advert was registered. Surely, the number can be traced and the owner prosecuted!
