INEC deploys 45,000 adhoc staff in Kano

Kano Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji Munkaila Abdullahi Thursday said that no fewer than 45000 adhoc staff has been deployed by the electoral umpire for the conduct Saturday Presidential election.
Alhaji Abdullahi told Reporters in Kano that the affected staff would complement its regular staff during the exercise.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner disclosed that sensitive materials have been distributed across the 44 local government, adding that authorities at the local council would distribute them across the 484 political wards in the state.
He disclosed that over 4 million PVC have been distributed to registered voters, adding that the figure is expected to rise by the end of the day.
