Voting has been extended in three local government areas of Borno State due to some logistic and technical problems.
The state’s Resident Electoral Commissioner, Samuel Madaki, said nine polling units in Maiduguri metropolitan Council will be affected by the development.
Madaki listed late arrival of election materials and problems with the card readers as some of the reasons for the extension.
