The rally of the All Progressives Congress in Okrika, Rivers State has been hit by three Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).
According to a report monitored on Channels Television, the explosions which went off near
the rally ground caused a stampede.
People gathering for the rally are reportedly scampering for safety.
The party supporters, in their numbers, were reported to have gathered and were waiting for the leaders of the party in the state to arrive the venue of the rally when the explosions occurred.
So far, there are no reports of any injuries or casualties and it is not clear if the rally would eventually get underway.
