Bauchi APC, Buhari Campaign Organisation Condemn Attack On GEJ's Convoy

Following reports that President Jonathan’s convoy was attacked by unidentified thugs during his campaign rally in Bauchi, Alhaji Uba Nana, Chairman, Bauchi State Chapter of APC, and the state’s Chapter of Buhari Campaign Organisation (BCO), have condemned last Wednesday’s attack on President Goodluck Jonathan’s convoy.

Alhaji Nana and the State Co-ordinator of BCO, Dr Danjuma Dabo, made the condemnation on Sunday in Bauchi while briefing newsmen.

“We hereby condemn in strong terms any act of violence which took place and we are against any violence during any political event or procession,” Nana and Dabo said.

The two politicians sympathised with those who had directly or indirectly suffered any form of loss and injury during the said fracas.

“We want to reiterate that APC will continue to promote peaceful politicking.

“We exhibited such practically during our `Bauchi Walk for Buhari’, staged by BCO recently, and we were commended by all security agencies in the state,” they said.
