Presidential aspirant, Rabiu Kwankwaso set to return to Kano from APC presidential primary after Kano bomb blast



Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State is set to leave the venue of the ongoing presidential primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Lagos to his home state of Kano to attend to issues relating to the bomb blast that occurred in the state today.


Two female suicide bombers detonated explosives in the popular textile market (Knatin Kwari) in Kano city, killing the two of them and four others, police said.

His return to Kano notwithstanding, Governor Kwankwaso, who is a presidential aspirant of the APC is still in the race.

Deputy Governor of the Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduja while confirming the governors return to Kano said Kwankwaso is still in the race for the APC presidential ticket.
