Nasarawa State Governor, Alhaji Tanko Al-Makura, on Monday evening declared a dusk-to-dawn curfew in Lafia, the state capital, following unceasing violence in the state capital and its environs.
The governor said this had become necessary to stop the spate of violence and killings in the state.
He said this was the outcome of an emergency meeting of the State Security Council held at Government House, Lafia.
Al-Makura said the curfew would start at 6pm and end at 6am.
This man should prepare to move out of that Government house soon for not controlling the security situation in the state and needless killing of innocent lives.
