Former Ogun State Governor, Gbenga Daniel, re-joins PDP



A former Ogun State Governor, Gbenga Daniel, re-joined the ruling Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, on Wednesday.
‎Mr. Daniel, who decamped from PDP to the Labour party, LP, early this year, made a return at the Presidential Villa in Abuja after a series of reconciliation meetings between him and the party leaders.

Meanwhile, ‎the former governor was a surprise guest at a ‎ Sallah party organised by Buruji Kashamu, whom he had fallen apart with.
The party held at the Goodluck Jonathan Political Centre, Ijebu Igbo.‎
Mr. Kashamu is the‎ Chairman of Mobilisation and Organisation Committee of the PDP, South West.
The two men were seen dancing together as Mr. Buruji sprayed Mr. Daniel with dollar notes.
The reconciliation between both Messrs Kashamu and Daniel ‎was brokered by the national leaders of the PDP.
