This is an indication of faulty Nose Wheels.

The statement said in observing the Standard and Recommended Practice, which is a corollary to safe operation, the pilot declared an emergency.

Ndubuoke said the aircraft, which had a total of 178 persons on board, made up of 168 passengers and 10 crew members, landed safely at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

He said, “The Captain of the Flight later explained to NCAA that the Nose Tyre Pressure Indicator was faulty hence the wrong signal.

“The Tyre Pressure was later discovered to be in perfect condition.”

Meanwhile, NCAA has directed the Pilot to submit the Mandatory Occurrence Report to it in real time.
