Aliyu also said the PDP would form the next government in Niger State in 2015.
Speaking at the presentation of take off grants to beneficiaries of Subsidy Reinvesting Empowerment Programme, the governor said what the party needed was prayers for the party to do the right thing and for good and acceptable candidates to be nominated for the elections.
He said, “PDP shall form the next Federal Government. PDP will win the governorship election in Niger State in 2015, and we will do it by God’s guidance and by our clean minds.
“If anybody is with clean mind, God will assist the person no matter what people say. Even people who slaughter donkeys and vultures may need to go to Senegal or Mali. That is a long way to go to get these animals. So, whether you slaughter vultures or donkeys so that nobody will be liked, I am happy my people like me, and I can go anywhere and say ‘we did all we did with your support because we let you know what is happening and you advised’.”
“A leader must be ready always for criticisms because most times, when people criticise, it is because they don’t know the basis of the decision that has been taken, but if they know, they may advise on how to correct it and how to make it better. Criticism is one of the ways to make leaders be in the know.”
Governor Aliyu, we in the south single you out for good intention and unity of the country long time ago. so I wad disappointed to see you in crissis zone with your dear party pdp. pls let bye gone be bye gone and work for peace. emulate abdusalami and babangida for their maturity after office. God bless you. at least your present position now means that their is peace in your mind.

Gov babangida is no more a happy man sailing in that sinkingship (pdp) but has no alternative rather than to remain and go down with it bcos of what his hands, selfish desires and devilish mind comitted him into. Any atempt to optout of that sinkingship (pdp) then gej‘s watch dogs (efcc) will definately come after him bcos of what his grid and selfish desires has caused him. Eyaa,it‘s really a pity. But truth to be told there has bn no changes in niger state since he was governor only the time hs two daughters were getting maried that was when trafic and street lights were put if not nothing iswr. And he wants to contest agaist senetor dahiru awaisu next year! I laf! People in minna hates this man ehh! His sort of like a dictator now... He gave 100 cars to graduate that they should do taxi with it then he wiped out all byks and okadas leavin napep which isn't much in the town and few 3 to 5 cars he gave out. Every morning and evening see students treking long distance to work people treking to work all cause no okada. We thankGod for our leaders chai! I no fit talk. Abba Isah
